Kadrit Juur, Dance Instructor
Kadrit is a professional dance instructor with 25 years in the business. She is also a professional make-up artist and hairdresser with multiple European certifications who offers her expertise to those competing on the ballroom dance circuit. Born in Estonia, she began as a gymnast at 3 years of age and while she very much enjoyed being a gymnast, she noticed the lovely dresses involved in ballroom dance as a young girl and quickly developed a passion for the sport. Throughout her teenaged years in Estonia she competed for and won many national competitions. Kadrit continued to develop her craft and was soon recognized for her incredible professionalism on the competition circuit first as a competitive dancer and then as a dedicated and talented instructor. She is certified in American Style Ballroom and Rhythm, Night Club, Latin, Social, and International 10 Dances. In 2004 Kadrit came to America to share her knowledge and love of the ballroom with eager students in the United States. Kadrit (who sweetly tells her students to just call her “Katie”) provides her students with excellent instruction and her positive attitude and quirky sense of humor mixed with her patience and exceptional knowledge continues to produce students who consistently dance away with trophies and medals at competitions all over the nation.
