Brent Hyskell
Brent Hyskell, a seasoned dance professional and owner of Kaluby’s Dance Club on Atlantic Blvd., is a veteran in the dance world for more than twenty years, mostly in Jacksonville, Florida.
Brent competed professionally for more than five years and became United States Cabaret finalist. He also took third place at the Ohio Star Ball in 2000. His continued success has been taking several students to U.S. Championship titles.
Brent’s background is in Music Direction and Music Composition. He has been a business owner since 2004. Bent has a passion for people and dancing. He hopes that he is always an inspiration to his students to create and do well. His hobby is golfing, but most of all, he enjoys spending time with his children.

Pavel Volynskiy
Originally from Kenigsberg, Russia, Pavel Volynskiy began his dance training at the age of ten. Through that early experience he has developed exceptional talent in ballroom and Latin dances as well as hip-hop, jazz and ballet. He has reinforced this training through his participation in many dance competitions across Europe. He launched his professional career in 2000. Pavel moved to the U.S. in 2003, originally to New York City, where he continued to train with world renowned dancers including attending the Broadway Dance School. Pavel continued to compete in the U.S., achieving finalist status in multiple events. As an instructor, Pavel’s philosophy is, first and foremost, for the student to enjoy the experience. He does a masterful job blending the artistry of dance with its technique. His professional aspirations are to be considered a successful teacher and an advanced competitor. Pavel holds degrees in Business Management and Nursing and has attended French culinary school.

Gabriela Ocipova
Gabriela was born and raised in Presov, Slovakia where she began dancing at the age of eight. She originally trained in ballet, and later added ballroom styles to her dancing education. After completing her formal schooling, Gabriela moved to the U.S. to study English and begin her professional teaching career. Her career as a teacher has already been highlighted by noteworthy accomplishments. She has won awards for top teacher and teacher with most lessons taught over a two consecutive year span. She also has been a finalist in several competitions. As a teacher, Gabriela enjoys the variety of all the dances offered in the ballroom and Latin styles. Her teaching style is very positive, inspiring her students to build confidence in their dancing as well as themselves. Her professional goals include opening her own dance studio in the future. Gabriela holds a bachelor’s degree in Financial Management from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. In addition she has received professional teaching certifications from Fred Astaire Dance Studio and Kaluby’ Dance Club.
